- Use your notes from each region to decide which regions you may need to barter with in order to have the resources to survive

During the time of the barter system (trading your goods without using money), Native American tribes would trade goods that were thought of as equal in value. The items that were bartered depended upon the area the particular tribe lived in because they would create unique goods from the resources found in their region.
