Driving Question: How can I, as a citizen, affect change within my community?
Project Summary: Using the Civil Rights movement and heroes as a model, students will demonstrate how to affect positive changes within their community Focus Standard:
b. Explain the key events and people of the Civil Rights movement; include Brown v. Board of Education (1954), the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the March on Washington, Civil Rights Act, Voting Rights Act, and civil rights activities of Thurgood Marshall, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King, Jr. |

Steve Wood-talked about his ministry he recently founded (The Living Water) and how he travels to countries around the world to show them love and to provide whatever resources he can to help children in war torn countries, especially in the middle East.
