5th Grade - Microorganisms - Friend or Foe?
Driving Question: How can we use knowledge of microorganisms to create a healthier environment at Creek View Elementary?
Project Summary: Microorganisms can be helpful or harmful and students are often unaware of the health risks associated with microorganisms they encounter in the course of their day. This unit of study will meld math, science, and language arts to raise awareness and deepen student understanding of these intruders, It will offer voice/choice for creating an authentic product summarizing lessons learned. Students will have the ability to choose between individual and partner presentations.
