Ready, Set, Weather!

Tracy Humphreys from 11 Alive News visited first grade. She spoke with them about different types of weather and what her job as a meteorologist is like.

Project Summary - Students will take the role of meteorologists as they explore weather and weather patterns. They will learn to use different kinds of weather tools. With this knowledge, they will create public service announcements for severe weather procedures. Students will also create an information writing piece of a type of weather of their choice.

Products
In small groups, students researched severe weather and then created a script for a Public Service Announcement. They recorded it in the Telestory App. Each student also created their own Chatterpix video telling about one of the four seasons.
